This was my first time dealing with a sewer grinder pump alarm at my new house. I reached out to Jacob & Sons Plumbers, and they sent Marc over within a few hours to check things out. Marc gave me some quick suggestions and said he’d return the next morning with a full estimate. Just like he promised, Marc came back with Justin in a pump truck to fix the urgent issue and see what else might be needed. It turned out my grinder pump had completely stopped working, but Marc and Braxton worked together to replace it quickly. I appreciated how Marc kept me updated at every step, explaining what he was doing and why it mattered. After moving into an older house, I started dealing with serious sewer issues. I'd previously used other plumbers who misdiagnosed the problem and offered ineffective solutions. But then I got in touch with Jacob & Sons Plumbers, and they immediately identified the problem and knew how to address it correctly. They installed liners in some of the old cast iron pipes beneath my house and applied an epoxy coat to a lengthy laundry line under the slab. They also replaced parts of the severely damaged cast iron with PVC. Marc, Braxton, and Justin were incredibly professional and knowledgeable. braxton from los angeles was my plumber today. my kitchen sink had been clogged for weeks, even though i tried using drain cleaner and snaking it myself several times. braxton was really professional, friendly, and patient. he took the time to explain what was wrong with my pipes and answered all my questions in a way that made sense. braxton gave me options: he could snake the drain, but there was a chance it would clog up again soon, or he could do a jet cleaning that comes with a six month guarantee. after showing me just how blocked my pipe was, i decided to go with the jet cleaning for a thorough fix. now my sink drains perfectly and i feel so much better about my plumbing. i'm very happy with the service and will recommend this company to my friends and family in los angeles. ~ Carol D

Don and his guys came to our house to fix an annoying leak in the back/guest house a few years back. Other Plumbers couldn't locate the problem, it was very frustrating. Don and his guys found the source and it wasn't an easy job but they delivered and we havent had any issues with that back house leak ever since! They really did an amazing job and we called them again to install a new toilet, no problem. I recently even referred Don Lollar to my parent's house for a leaky kitchen sink & new trash disposal install. We were able to get an appt the very next day and, as expected, they did a wonderful job. Nothing but positive things to say about Don, his guys and the ladies that schedule & answer the calls. this was my first time working with Jacob & Sons Plumbers, and i was really impressed. they were recommended by another drain service that didn't have the right tools to clear out storm drains in my concrete patio. my appointment window was between 10 and 2, and the office gave me a call to let me know the plumber was heading over—he actually showed up 30 minutes early. justin had all the right equipment, knew exactly what to do, and was super friendly and easy to talk to. the drain hadn’t been cleaned out in a very long time, but after almost two hours, justin got it completely clear, cleaned up everything, and was done. definitely recommend if you need a reliable plumber in los angeles! ~ D L

Best plumbing experience ever! After our first visit, we immediately asked what other plumbing services they offered—turns out they handle sewers, septic, and even excavation work! We called late in the day because our faucet suddenly wouldn’t shut off. Justin arrived right on time at 8am the next morning, was super friendly and polite, and quickly fixed both the faucet and a broken tub stopper. When he found the cause of the leak, he checked our water softener too, and discovered it needed to be replaced. Braxton came to help, and they swapped it out the same day, even though it was a big job. They were really understanding about our dog and us coming and going during the repairs. We had a major problem when our water main broke just past the meter. The leak was huge! Braxton, our plumber, arrived right on time and promised to have our water running before the night was over. The repair turned out to be much tougher than expected—the broken pipe was buried deep underground, almost six feet down, and it was tangled up in a big tree's roots. Still, Braxton worked hard and made sure everything was fixed properly. Marc, the supervisor, kept in touch and made sure we were updated throughout the process. since my usual plumber couldn't make it, i reached out for help with a wobbly toilet and a small leak at the cold water valve on my water heater. justin showed up right on time and checked out the toilet. turns out, it didn't need a big fix—just some shims to level it out because of the uneven tile floor. justin also took care of my copper pipes connected to the water heater and put in a new quarter turn cold water valve, which should hold up well for a long time. justin was very professional and knew exactly what he was doing. i highly recommend this plumbing service for anyone needing reliable work. ~ francisco s

jacob & sons plumbers responded right away when we called for help. we had previously reached out to another plumbing company to pump our septic tank, but they couldn’t locate it. marc and braxton came out and were both very professional. they first tried to find the septic tank with a probe, but then decided to use a camera to help with the search. we were all surprised when they found the tank in an unexpected spot, but they located it quickly and marked it clearly with spray paint. the service was excellent, and i highly recommend them for any septic or plumbing needs, especially if you need a quick response in an urgent situation. ~ Hayden C

I’ve used this plumbing service twice. The first time was to install a new water heater, and the most recent job was to fix a leaking pipe. This is the third time i've called Jacob & Sons Plumbers for different plumbing jobs, and they always get things done right the first time. braxton helped me before, and this time justin came out to fix a clogged double sink in the main bathroom. justin arrived on time and even called to let me know he was on his way. he was friendly, wore the company t-shirt, and introduced himself right away. he explained everything clearly, told me what was wrong and how he planned to fix it. he even used an ipad for the paperwork and payment, showing all the fees and costs before starting. with his years of experience, you could tell he really cared about his work. he brought all the right tools, including a camera and a drain snake to handle tricky pipes behind the wall, so everything was done in one visit. after finishing, he cleaned up the work area and gave me some tips to keep the pipes clear and avoid future blockages. the price is higher than some others, but it’s always honest work and worth it to me. i’ll keep using them if i need any plumbing done again—good plumbers like this are hard to find! ~ Veronica S

I've got to say, i had a pretty decent time. Justin stepped in to swap out the old water line going to my fridge's ice maker with a fresh, braided one. Not only that, but he also repositioned the shutoff valve so it's not concealed behind a cold air vent anymore. He was quick and provided good service.
